Accomplishments
The Oregon State University IHSA team was founded in 2000, and has since been able to acquire multiple regional champion titles as well as national recognition. The team has been regional champions for both Hunt Seat and Western for 7 consecutive years. In 2006 OSU's Western team ranked 9th at the National competition, followed by a 4th place finish in 2007, 3rd place finish in 2008 and most recently the 2009 Western team came home with a Reserve National Champion title!
OSU's team has produced 2 National Champions in Beginner Walk Trot Horsemanship (Class 11), and a National Alumni Reining Champion as well! In addition, the team has also had a Reserve Champion AQHA Hi Point Rider as well as a 3rd place Hi Point Rider!
The 2009-2010 Preseason is over! This year Oregon State IHSA won team highpoint for both English and Western, as well as having sophomore Elizabeth Whitman qualify to represent Zone 8 Region 4 in the AQHA competition at Nationals!
